Teen arrested – accused of shooting fireworks at a dog

An Ohio teen was arrested last weekend for allegedly shooting fireworks at a dog. According to the Toledo Blade, 18-year-old Caleb L. Barnes-Williams was arrested on Saturday after the authorities viewed a video showing him shooting fireworks at a neighbor’s dog.

Barnes-Williams allegedly threw lit fireworks from an apartment balcony – the fireworks exploded around a two-year-old pit bull named King. The accused teen was booked into booked in the Lucas County jail, but released the next day – he has pleaded not guilty to the charges stemming from the incident.

The dog managed to escape injury and is in the custody of his owner.

    We must do A BETTER JOB of protecting animals 24/7 from EVIL LUNATICS like this! Animal cruelty is EVEN MORE RAMPANT when there are FIREWORKS!
