A woman in San Antonio, Texas, is mourning the death of her beloved cat, who was allegedly killed because a teenage neighbor fed her to a pack of dogs. As reported by KSAT News, the gruesome act of cruelty was captured on surveillance video and now the teenager will face animal cruelty charges.
The cat’s owner, who has not been named, told the news agency:
She’s micro-chipped. She’s spayed. You know, she ran the block for a very long time. I mean, she knows the area and the houses and everything, very nice cat,”
The cat, named Bonnie, was found on Friday night, along with the bodies of two kittens. Shannon Sims, San Antonio Animal Control Services assistant director, noted that this type of disturbing behavior can escalate to human violence:
“We know that there’s a direct correlation between this type of behavior in humans, and it escalating into severe criminality and even domestic violence.”
The unidentified teenager could face felony charges.

WHY??? I don’t understand WHY??? WHY did this POS think murdering innocent cats was a “good idea”???
If those were my pets, I would be in jail and that POS in the morgue……….
I have never understood why some pet parents think it’s ok to allow their cats to be “free range outside”…… my cats were ALWAYS inside my house (they liked being close to the home smoked salmon & tuna) AND much healthier (no risk of being scooped up by hawks/eagles, car accidents, feline leukemia, feline hiv, fights)……. Always “fixed & chipped” (just to be safe)…….
I really hope this POS teen is locked up forever to protect society (please lose the keys)…….. his remaining life in prison should be pure Hell (& after he dies, he will burn in Hell forever for his cruelty)……
Could face felony charges? How about BETTER face felony charges? How can parents raise a child and not know he’s a monster? They aren’t unaware of it: they simply close their eyes and pretend. He needs to be locked up and never allowed out where he can hurt anyone else.
