Tears in dog’s eyes as owner left sweet senior at overcrowded shelter

At the SEAACA shelter in California, a gentle sweet senior was surrendered last Wednesday; one can literally see the tears in her eyes. The saddest 12-year-old beagle just watches through the bars in her kennel cage; likely hoping the next person she sees will be that very owner who left her at the shelter.

An advocate writes:

“… She is the sweetest dog hoping to be rescued/home for forever holidays. Please share it out for the sweet sad girl. She doesn’t understand why her owners would leave her, but has a glimmer of hope that someone will be her hero and save her.”

At this time there are no medical notes, however there is an interested rescue group. A foster home is needed for approximately a week to help the rescue organization.

Her name is Sasha; please reference 20-11745 when making inquiries at the shelter.

Follow her plight on Facebook. Sharing her story with friends, family and social media contacts will help Sasha.
