A dog described as one of the “sweetest dogs ever” is in need of a new home after she was abandoned in a dumpster. The dog, dubbed Cara, is now in the care of the North Fork Animal Welfare League, Inc. in Peconic, New York.
On June 13, the animal welfare agency reached out to Facebook followers with information about the homeless pup:
This sweet girl was left in a dumpster! She does not hold that against humans. Cara is one of the sweetest most loving girls we have ever met!!! She smiles when she sees you and give perfect gentle kisses. Cara loves to snuggle and hold hands. This sweet girl is heartworm positive and we are treating her. any family who gives this girl a home is VERY LUCKY!!!
Cara is in need of a human who will show her just as much love as she has to give. Please share this article and help her find a home worthy of her love.
