A sweet, senior German shepherd, 10 years of age, seems to have been forgotten at a busy California animal control agency. The senior dog, dubbed Fiona, has been held at the Long Beach Animal Care Services facility since September 5.
Fiona was picked up as a stray, and though she likely had an owner, nobody came to retrieve her. Now, months later, she continues to wait behind the bars of her kennel run – hoping against hope that someone will stop and give her a second chance.
Notes on Fiona’s shelter biography read:
10/14/19 13:50 Fiona was found as a stray. She is a friendly, senior shepherd that has a slightly stiff gait and some worn teeth but overall appears to be in good health for her age.
Helping Fiona
Fiona needs to be living the rest of her life with a loving owner. Not sitting in a cage. Please help Fiona find a home for the holidays by sharing her adoption information.
