Sweet old boy in need of a family

A sweet old boy,  15 years of age, is desperately in need of a new family. The elderly dog, named Rodney, is at a busy animal control agency in San Antonio, Texas and he needs a home. Rodney is already on the “euthanasia list,” and his time has nearly run out.

On Saturday SAPA Urgents and Adoptables wrote:

Rodney is a sweet ol guy that loves being with you. He’s relaxed and just looking for a comfy place to lay his head. Once you meet this fella you’ll surly fall in love. He really does deserve all the best! Rodney is neutered, about 45 lbs and is 15 yrs old.

An animal control agency is no place for a senior dog to live out the last portion of his life – Rodney should be enjoying a soft bed, good food, and the touch of a kind hand. Rodney needs your help to make his future, with a loving family, possible.

Please network Rodney’s information and help this old boy find a family, before it’s too late.

The shelter said people can pledge to help Rodney. Does anyone know how to do that? I am not on Facebook. Thank you very much for the help!

I will NEVER UNDERSTAND why a shelter refuses an offer to “indefinitely” sponsor an animal! They prefer to KILL THEM! THIS MAKES ME SICK!
Can anyone please help save Rodney?
