A sweet, old boy in a busy California animal control facility is patiently waiting for a home of his own. His name is Rex and he was recently transferred from the Downey Animal Care Center to Carson Animal Services in Gardena. On the agency’s volunteer-run Facebook page, an advocate writes:

Please take another look at sweet REX, he really wants out now!

REX is a beauty and he has calm, gentle energy. He was transferred from the DOWNEY Shelter where they loved him! Check out the sweet photos they took of him!

This older shepherd mix is calm and amiable – all he needs is a chance. You can lend him a hand by taking a minute to share this article, with his adoption information. Networking saves lives!

  1. Please help this beautiful darling! If they loved him, why did they transfer him? But I’m sure they had a good reason.

In any event, both of these shelters are very crowded, so PLEASE get him out of there FAST!
