Surveillance video from a Ring App shows a man tackling and violently punching a dog in Lehigh Acres, Florida. The man, identified as 28-year old Joshua Schlotmann, has been arrested by Lee County deputies and he is facing aggravated animal cruelty charges for the Sunday incident, reports NBC 2 News.

In the video, Schlotmann can be seen slowly approaching the dog and then throwing several punches. The dog, Thanos, has been taken into custody by Lee County Domestic Animal Services; no word on the dog’s condition.

The authorities were quick to take action after learning about the concerning situation – the video was posted on the Ring App shortly before noon on Sunday and Schlotmann was in custody by 2 p.m. Sheriff Carmine Marceno stated, “Not here. Not now. Not ever. I’ll keep throwing these abusers in jail. Whatever it takes to get the message across. I won’t stand for any type of abuse!
