A stray senior dog, eight years of age, is desperately in need of rescue from a Texas animal control agency. The German shepherd mix, dubbed Ravi, was found in front of someone’s garage – unable to move anything except for his head.

Ravi is being held at the Garland Animal Services facility. On Friday night, the Facebook page, Shelter Animals of Garland, Mesquite and Rowlett, Texas, writes:

PER THE SHELTER: He is around 8 years old, His condition looks the same as he came in yesterday: no movement of the body, the only thing he is able to to lift is his head.
Total Pledged $90.00 .. he needs rescued .. the shelter isn’t going to keep holding him in that condition 10-18-19 6:49pm

Ravi needs to be seen and evaluated by a veterinarian. Please share this article to help find a rescue group that can step up to get this senior dog the care that he so desperately needs.

  1. Poor guy……. he might be paralyzed from an injury, “hit by car”, tick disease, born with an injury that got progressively worse…. we don’t know all the facts…..

Saddest thing is he might have a temporary condition, easily fixed AND not be given anything but the euthanasia shot!

  2. PER THE SHELTER: Ravi got real bad, real quick and started having seizures. ACO called the vet in. She re-evaluated him and didn’t want him to continue to suffering so he was euthanized. 🙁
