A stray dog wandered into a home in Philadelphia early Saturday morning trying to find shelter from a rain storm. She has to be one of the luckiest stray pups in the world – the homeowners adopted her!
Jack Jokinen and his wife woke up to find the emaciated nine-year-old dog in their home and knew she needed immediate veterinarian care. And because of this special dog, they dubbed Suzy, who somehow made an amazing connection, she has become a part of the family.
“I just woke up to this puppy in my house and we have no idea who it got here,” @JJFrom TheBronx posted on Twitter.
Suzy’s story has been documented on Twitter – causing quite a stir and a whole lot of smiles and coos. The door likely blew open during the storm, and Suzy took advantage of the warmth.
One day after Suzy went to the vet, she has been doing much better.
