She was so scared she sat in the corner of a small South Texas shelter. Broken, scared and fearful, but why? What did this dog do wrong that someone neglected her for such a long time? Her mange, the loss of her coat and the fleas and ticks didn’t just happen overnight.
A volunteer described her as fearful and untouchable. She refused to make eye contact and urinated in pure fright when anyone approached.
“Is her life worth saving? Yes it it! Our mission is to rescue unwanted, neglected, and abused animals across Texas,” the Dallas Dog RRR – Rescue, Rehab. Reform posted on their Facebook page Wednesday afternoon after deciding to help.
Transportation has been arranged and this dog is headed to a veterinarian hospital for immediate care.
