Help is desperately needed for an older German shepherd who is being held at a busy animal shelter in Houston, Texas. The 10-year-old dog, known only by his identification number, struggles to walk and can barely stand.

This DOG – ID#A1646463I am a male, brown and black German Shepherd Dog mix.
The shelter staff think I am about 10 years old.
I have been at the shelter since Aug 08, 2019.
Life shouldn’t end here for this dog – he should be with a person who loves him. He should be resting on a comfortable dog bed and have tasty treats in his tummy. Ideally a home could be found for this senior boy, or perhaps a hospice foster who can care for him for as long as he has left.
