Pit bull shot with an arrow

Someone shot pit bull with an arrow, inside of owner’s fenced-in yard

A South Carolina family is seeking answers after someone shot their pit bull with an arrow on Thursday. The disturbing incident took place when three-year-old Douui’s was inside of his family’s fenced-in yard in Liberty.

As reported by WMUR News, the dog was hit in the side and his injuries were significant. In fact, if not for the kindness of a friend, the Moore family would not have been able to cover the $2000 veterinary bill. The Moores believe that their dog was targeted because of his breed – Jessica Moore showed the foot-long arrow and told the news agency, “(He was shot) just because (of) the look of him. He’s broad. He’s big. He’s a pit bull. (It) doesn’t mean you should judge him by that and send something like this through him.”

Douii is a big part of the Moore family and they are heartbroken that someone tried to kill him. Now they are hoping that the authorities will find the person responsible and hold them accountable.
