At the Miami-Dade Animal Care Center in Florida, Socko is on the list to be euthanized in the morning. A volunteer from Rescue Me – Miami tells Socko’s sad story through his eyes:

“Can anyone help me please? My human watched these lumps grow on my leg and scrotum, but didn’t seem to care. Maybe there’s someone else out there who will care before it’s too late?

They are killing me tomorrow 9/6 at 10 am when they walk in the door. I won’t even get to eat before I die.”

Here’s the reason they’re killing him! It would be comical if it wasn’t so ******* disgusting!”

Animal advocates are irate and dispute any claims that Socko is aggressive.

“UF students tried to take pet out of kennel. Pet did not show signs of aggression until leash was presented. Pet tried to bite.

Funny because the VOLUNTEERS had no problem getting him out!”

Check out Socko’s video, (with a leash inside of his cage) and make your own decision whether this dog is aggressive.

“Hi my name is #SOCKO #A2063093. and I’m only 4 yrs young and I’m a goofy boy whose tail did not stop wagging, the whole time I’m visited by humans.”

The shelter has already sent out multiple email blasts to rescues  to get Socko help, but so far, no one has shown any interest. Sadly, he has been at the shelter since July. Socko is located in the medical ward; he is not visible to the public. His only chance is a rescue to help him get out alive and give him the medical attention he needs.
