A small senior dog, who has been described as a “mess,” needs some help at a New York City animal shelter. The 10-year-old dog, Rufus, is being held at the Animal Care Center of Manhattan, and he could use some tender loving care.

On Saturday, the Must Love Dogs – Saving NYC Dogs Facebook page posted a photo of Rufus, writing:

Rufus 70453 … super-cute, even though a mess at the moment, found as a stray, this sweet little 10 yr young, 8 lb nugget is waiting for your TLC at the Manhattan, NY ACC. Inquire about him now before it is too late!

And information about where this tiny senior dog was found:

Found Location
Palovino Street
NEW YORK, 10035
Date Found 7/26/2019

Note: All inquiries about this dog must be made directly to the animal control agency. The Pet Rescue Report is not the point of contact. Please only contact the facility if you have a serious inquiry as tied up phone lines do not help the animals in need. Thank you for your consideration.
