A reward has been offered following the discovery of a skeletal dog in Memphis, Tennessee. This week, Memphis Animal Services notified the public that an emaciated dog, dubbed Shiloh, had been taken in at their facility – the dog was in such poor condition that he died just one day after his arrival.
Animal Services writes:
Memphis Animal Services is looking for information about a possible owner of this male dog who we named Shiloh (#A314183). Shiloh came to us in horrific condition on 5/28/19 and unfortunately passed away the following day. He was found near Appling Farms & Hillshire in the Cordova area.
Shiloh’s body indicates long-term, likely purposeful neglect…seldom do stray dogs deteriorate to his dismal condition. Anyone with information is asked to reach out to animal services at: email [email protected].
