Amy is back at the Baldwin Park Animal Shelter in California. The four-year-old German Shorthaired Pointer was returned to the shelter one week ago. In January, 2019, Amy had been brought in as a stray. Reports noted her owners no longer wanted to reclaim Amy from the shelter because the dog had already been spayed.

And on January 29, 2019, the beautiful Shorthaired Pointer was adopted. A volunteer wrote:

Her Owners had already been breeding her and didn’t want her back after being spayed at the shelter.  She appeared to have recently had puppies and seemed so sad. We were all so happy when she was adopted! To see her back at the shelter truly breaks our hearts. Praying the RIGHT person that understands this breed will adopt her this time! She deserves a TRUE FOREVER HOME where she will be loved & cherished as a loyal “Family Member!,” an animal advocate posted on her social media page.

And on April 4, Amy was returned. Her current owners stated the dog would continually escape from their yard. This sad dog needs help. Please share her plight with approved rescue organizations, friends, family and social media contacts. Sharing saves lives.
