Shelter dog’s photo of pure rejection breaks our collective hearts

At the Miami-Dade Animal Services, a shelter dog’s photo of pure rejection breaks our hearts. Everyday, in every shelter across America, lost, unwanted, tortured and neglected dogs feel the same as reflected by this young dog’s photo. Her name is Dana – a name given to her by the shelter because no one knows where she lived and with whom she called her “person.”

Dana is unwanted; no one has come to rescue her. She needs our help. She is shivering with fright and barely moves for the volunteer video-graphing her sad plight.

Check out her video here:

Fearful dogs are at a greater risk at the shelter and don’t always make it out alive. Share her story with approved rescue organizations, friends, family and social media contacts. Sharing saves lives.

#A2066431 I am a female brown brindle and white American Bulldog mix.

The shelter staff think I am about 3 years old.

I was found as a stray and I may be available for adoption on 08/03/2019. @ Miami-Dade Animal Services.
