On Monday afternoon a plea went out to area residents near Odessa, Texas. A dog was found in the landfill; he could not move. Volunteers rescued him and rushed him to Angel Veterinary Clinic.
“Anyone missing this poor baby? One blue and one brown eye, found in West Odessa at the landfill. Cold and possibly hurt.”
The dog is suffering from hypothermia and has tick fever. His x-rays appear normal, but he is not able to move. At this time his sugar levels are extremely low and he is being being administered intravenous medications. He remains in serious condition.
Help is needed. Donations can be called directly into Angel Vet at 432-381-0470; he is under Rescuers Without Borders. PayPal [email protected].
