Senior pup needs her ‘somebody’ after dumped at Texas shelter

The photo of a senior dog lying alone in her shelter kennel is heartbreaking. Meet Lady – an 11-year-old sweet Labrador retriever who can hardly see. Her owner turned her into the San Antonio Animal Shelter.

“556608 Lady is a sweet old gal that just enjoys taking cat naps in her kennel. She’s a gentle soul that would love a warm, comforting place to spend the rest of her senior years in. Lady is around 11 years in age and roughly 40 lbs.”

I am a female, black Labrador Retriever. The shelter staff think I am about 11 years old. I was surrendered by my owner, and I am currently at San Antonio Animal Care Services.
