A ten-year-old senior pup is perfect, yet no one has elected to give him a home. This gentle soul was surrendered to Carson Animal Care after spending his entire life with one family; suddenly someone developed allergies and Rocky was gone.
Volunteers sing his praises; he is amazing, house trained and is fine with other dogs.

#A5304333 My name is ROCKY and I’m an approximately 10 year old male Staffordshire. I am already neutered. I have been at the Carson Animal Care Center since 7/27. I will be available on 7/27. You can visit me at my temporary home at C209. My former family who owned me for more than 5 years had to give me up because they were allergic to me. But they said that I spend time indoors and outdoors. I seem to be good with small children. I am housetrained. I am good on a leash. I seem to get along well with dogs.

“UPDATE!! He was out with a VOLUNTEER who said he is TRAINED, he SITS, lays dos, shakes hand, loves affection is GREAT with other dogs and saw two CATS walk by and had NO REACTION!! He is PERFECT!!! LOVES EVERYONE!! He has a RESCUE but needs a FOSTER!!”
