A senior dog, 12 years of age, shakes on the floor of his kennel run at the Riverside County Animal Control facility in California. The Queensland Heeler, known by his ID#A1519767, has been at the facility since May 10.

This week, the volunteer-run Facebook page for this animal control agency notified page followers that the dog is status “red,” which means that he needs to be rescued as soon as possible.

You can lend this elderly boy a hand by taking a moment to share this article, with his adoption information. He should be enjoying what remains of his life with a loving owner, in a comfortable home – not sitting in a lonely kennel run.

  1. This shelter works VERY HARD to save the animals–and this darling sweetheart needs a rescue FAST. He is in the kind of pain that can ONLY be cured by LOVE!

  2. They are not returning my contacts–usually that means they’ve killed them.
Can anyone find out for sure?
