A senior dog is “completely uprooted” and finds herself homeless after the death of her owner. The 12-year-old Jack Russell terrier, named Angie, is at the Nassau County Animal Services facility in Yulee, Florida, and the shelter is hoping to find someone who is willing to take in a senior.

On Thursday, the shelter wrote of Angie’s sad predicament:

Will anyone choose the older pup?

Angie is a 12 year old Jack Russell. Her Mom passed away recently & she has been completely uprooted.

Angie would like to be the only animal in a home. She also prefers no young children. Sometimes ya just want to be the queen! 👸🐶

We all age & still deserve comfort & love, right?

Angie is scared and confused – through no fault of her own, she has lost her person and her home. Now she is waiting for someone to take notice of her and give her a second chance to live out the remainder of her life. Will you please help by sharing this article?

  1. I will NEVER understand why people don’t appreciate the deep love and amazing companionship of SENIOR DOGS!

Is that what happens as WE ALL GET OLDER? The older we get, the less
we are VALUED?! If this is true WE ARE ALL DOOMED at the hands of the BRAINLESS and HEARTLESS!
