Old boy needs a home
Spread the love

A sad, old boy, homeless and in need of help, is waiting to be noticed at an animal control agency in Jonesboro, Georgia. Smokey, 10 years of age, has been at the facility since April 29 and advocates are hopeful that someone will find it in their heart to offer him a home.

Time has taken its toll on Smokey…his face has grayed, his muscles have weakened, and he isn’t as spry as he once was. But, he is alive, and ready to share his love with someone!

Please help this old boy find someone who will provide him with a safe and loving home for the remainder of his days. You can assist Smokey by taking a moment to share this article – networking saves lives!

  1. Does anyone have contacts at Best Friends Animal Sanctuary in Utah? Or Frosted Faces based in San Diego, CA?

I have heard of 2 other groups that take on challenging cases: Rescue Dogs Rock (East Coast placements from other areas) and No Paws Left Behind (I think they are based in Southern California)…… I wish I knew specific people to contact from these groups…..

I am crying as I write this….. I wish I was able to help…… but I am in Northern California……..

He deserves a furever home where he will be a treasured family member (like our precious treasure MacKitty).

It absolutely breaks my heart to think of this special treasure alone, afraid and worst of all, unloved in the shelters (I know that old, “special needs” animals are usually at the very top of the euthanasia lists)…….

I can’t imagine ever giving up, let alone abandoning, a senior furbaby…….. The POS’s who abandoned this precious treasure will burn in Hell forever for their cruelty…….

I would give anything to be able to cuddle and snuggle with MacKitty (I know he’s in Heaven with my Dad and our other furbaby angels, but his loss is still very painful).
