Rocky is a great boy but is scheduled to be euth’ed

Rocky is a great dog and is 13-years-old. He is scheduled to be humanely euthanized on Sunday by his veterinarian as per the owner’s request if no one steps up to give this old guy a home.

Asked by animal advocates to help Rocky, the dog is located in New Jersey. Here is his story:

“This beautiful boy is Rocky. There is a lot wrong with him. Mostly blind, allergies, diabetes, hypertension, but all controllable with meds. He’s also 13 years old.

His dad has to give him up because of a demanding job, he can no longer care for him.”

The veterinarian caring for Rocky would like to find a loving home for Rocky; he is a great dog and the veterinarian adores him.

“There is so much right and wonderful with him, [Rocky] friendly, calm, with so much love to give. My friend, who is his vet, wants him to have a loving home, because he is such a great dog, and she adores him.”
