In St. Louis, Missouri, the Humane Society of Missouri is seeking information about a three-month-old mutilated puppy dropped out of a car on Monday afternoon. A $2,500 reward has been offered for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the person responsible for the despicable act.

The puppy, now named Gloria, was brought to the animal welfare organization by a Good Samaritan  who saw the puppy being dropped out of the car and bleeding on Chambers Road. Someone had apparently tried to crop her ears which resulted in jagged open wounds.

“This poor puppy endured horrific pain under what was surely inhumane, unsanitary conditions,” the organization wrote.

Gloria is expected to make a full recovery and will be made available for adoption in the next several weeks. Donations to help the Humane Society of Missouri care for her and find her abuser may be made to the Humane Society of Missouri’s Animal Cruelty Fund by calling 314-951-1542 or by making a secure donation online now.

You go Gloria!
