The reward to find the person responsible for a horrific case of kitten torture has climbed to $5,000. As reported by Syracuse.com, the Animal Alliance of Greater Syracuse is hoping to find the individual responsible for the torture and death of a kitten dubbed Star, who had to be euthanized because of her extreme injuries.
Star was found in late July without her front legs and other “fresh wounds.” Though she was taken to a veterinarian for treatment, she could not be saved.
Animal Alliance President Donna Chambers tells the news agency, “People are horrified by the brutality of this act, and want the perpetrator(s) apprehended and punished to the maximum allowed by law.”
