Update 8/21/19: Safe – adopted!

A playful puppy, with inquisitive eyes and a fiercely wagging tail, is at risk of having his young life cut short today. The pup, Mason, is just nine months of age, and it is reported that he is on “the list” of dogs who are to be put down today at a busy New York City animal care center.

A volunteer’s observations provide insight to Mason’s personality:

Welcome to Puppytown, population: Mason…and you? Great things come in small packages and so do bouncy, kissy, silly things, as this pint-sized prince proves within minutes of meeting him. Like most puppies he’s bright-eyed and curious about the world and very trusting of people, ready to literally leap into the arms of anyone who so much as smiles at him and snuggly beyond all measure.

Playful, snuggly and inquisitive are not enough to save this pup’s life however. He needs help. Please take a moment to network Mason’s adoption information – time is of the essence!
