A British puppy killer, who admitted to beating a Labrador retriever pup with a slipper, has been sentenced to jail time. According to multiple sources, 27-year-old Callum Gerken was sentenced to 23 weeks behind bars for the death of a puppy named Shadow.
Shadow, just 17 weeks of age, was brutally beaten by Gerken because she defecated in the house. Gerken sent angry messages to Shadow’s owner about the potty accident. The Daily Mail published some of rants to the owner, including:
I have just beat it from one side of the room to the other.
‘I don’t give a f**k. That is how it will be with me. She ain’t gonna do that again because she cannot f**king walk.’
The beating left Shadow with a lacerated liver, broken ribs and a broken jaw – though Gerken could see that the puppy was struggling to breathe after the beating, he did not get her to a veterinarian and she died.

23 weeks in jail is a joke. He killed that poor innocent dog! May Callum Gerken rot in Hell, he is a despicable human being and deserves the same he gave poor Shadow. Rest in peace Shadow, I’m sorry there is no justice for how you died!
