The authorities are searching for a man wanted for a 3rd-degree felony in Bexar County, Texas. As reported by Fox San Antonio News, the Bexar County Sheriff’s Office is searching for 39-year-old Armando Alaniz, who allegedly ran over a family’s dog on purpose.
Deputy Johnny Garcia with the Bexar County Sheriff’s Office stated:
On October 10, 2019, deputies were dispatched to a residence in southeast Bexar county after a witness reported seeing Armando had run over her dog.
Video surveillance backed up the witness’s account of what happened – the footage showed Garcia speeding up in his car and then turning into a family’s yard to strike the dog. Deputy Garcia stated:
Armando was arrested that day on a misdemeanor charge, however, because of the manner in which he killed the dog, it was upgraded to a 3rd degree felony, and a warrant was issued for his arrest,
Anyone with information about Armando’s whereabouts is asked to reach out to the Bexar County Sheriff’s Office at (210) 335-6000.
