Owner surrendered dog is very sick

An owner surrendered dog, held at the Los Angeles County Animal Control “Carson” facility since June 23, is very sick and she urgently needs someone to help her. The dog, a seven-year-old Sharpei/bulldog mix named Milli, has an upper respiratory infection that is not responding to medications.

Days ago, the Facebook page Saving Carson Shelter Dogs, explained Milli’s worsening condition:

Urgent medical plea for Milli A5293394
Good morning all, Milli is a 7 year old female spayed Shar Pei who started CIRDC medication on July 7th. Since she started meds, Milli has only gotten worse, draining purulent nasal discharge and having difficulty breathing. Milli will be rechecked on July 19th (Friday) and may be euthanized if still not responding to medication. Any assistance you can provide is appreciated, thank you.

Milli is being held at this busy California animal control agency because her family was moving and she wasn’t part of the plans. Now she is sick and may lose her life as a result. A bit of information has been released about her personality:

In play groups I demonstrate a gentle play style, have medium energy, and the Care Center thinks I’d do best in a home with high school aged children and other larger, calm dogs. My photographers, Jonny and Annie, want you to know that I’m a gentle girl who is looking for someone who dishes out good belly rubs!
Sweet MILLI has no idea why her family decided to use her for Breeding and then leave her and her buddy BLUE at the Shelter when they moved and she is going to need help fast, the Shelter is Filling up
