In Plymouth City Center in England, the owner of a dog left in a hot car for two hours, was angry because the window of his car was smashed  when authorities freed his dog from dying of the heat.

According to the Metro, the dog appeared very happy on Thursday afternoon after having been rescued, as the Charles Cross Police Team posted a photograph of the dog humping a policeman’s leg.

“He was very happy to be set free,” one of the team wrote.

The owner returned just as a towing company had been removing his vehicle. The dog owner did not know it was legal for police to break into automobiles when there is a risk to life. Outside temperatures soared to nearly 94 degrees.

The dog is currently at a veterinarian and under the care of the RSPCA.

  1. I’d like to break the owner’s head! Show how much he cared about his dog, the window meant more! I hope he doesn’t get the dog back, the fool doesn’t deserve it.
