At the Ramona Humane Society, an eight-year-old dog named Buster seemed to be crying real tears. Today was the worst day of Buster’s life – his owner surrendered him because he was “too hard on her back.”

And so the bonded dog cried out for his owner as she walked away. On Friday, a volunteer at the shelter told added to his heartbreaking story.

“I don’t know if a dog has ever made me this sad in my whole life,” Karen Garrett wrote on her Facebook page, hoping to attract an adopter to help. “This is Buster and he is 8 years old…He was letting out screams in tears as the owner walked away…”

“He is unbelievably sadder than any dog I’ve ever seen.”

Buster has a fatty mass on his right front leg, and it is hoped readers will share his plight with friends, family and social media contacts.

Wow, I’m 70 years old, I have 2 German Shepherds and a Beagle and a bad back. My back will continue to hurt and I will continue seeing my Chiropractor for it. My dogs will be with me no matter how much it hurts MY BACK! Not a legitimate excuse lady! Praying Buster finds a kind person to take him in, he doesn’t deserve this!
