Who else but a monster would throw a seriously injured puppy into a dumpster? Tragically, Geoffrey was found in an Atlanta trash bin; his open wounds exposing his skull and a raging infection.
Rescue Dogs Rock NYC has stepped up to help and transferred the 11 pound pooch to their Georgia veterinarian hospital partner.
“This poor baby is Geoffrey. He came to us from a GA shelter after being found like this by a dumpster in Atlanta. This poor baby is only 11 pounds & 2-3 years old. He has open wounds all over his head & his skull is exposed,” wrote Jackie O’Sullivan, co-founder of the rescue organization early Thursday morning.
No one knows what happened to Geoffrey, however he is currently being treated for his pain and infections. His prognosis is not known at this time, but he is undergoing life-saving treatment.
