A friendly, young elk, who seeks out human affection like an amiable dog, has been relocated to an area of Idaho where hundreds of hunters will be convening. As reported by KTVB News, the sociable elk, dubbed Elliott, lived in the town of Sweet for two years.
But Idaho Fish and Game officials decided that he had to leave…so the day before archery season opened, they relocated him to an area where thousands of hunters are expected to show up. Residents who knew and loved the friendly elk are worried that he will die on his own. One person told the news agency:
“He doesn’t even know how to migrate, he doesn’t even have a herd to follow. I just don’t feel like where he was located was the best plan for Elliot.”
There are reports that Elliot has been spotted in the new area – and ironically, some hunters have been looking out for him. But it takes just one hunter who is unaware of Elliott’s unique personality to ruin everything and snuff out his life.

Beyond cruel and disgusting…… This poor elk will get killed almost immediately because he has NO “survival skills”……. & he thinks humans won’t harm him…….
Why didn’t they allow him to go to an animal sanctuary or zoo???
Instead they “planted an easy kill for the hunters”…….. Totally wrong on so many levels…….
Those Fish & Game Wardens have reserved places in Hell waiting for them where they will burn forever for their cruelty…….
