A Rockford, Illinois, man pleaded guilty to aggravated animal cruelty for allegedly burning his dog in 2018, but he has been sentenced to just probation. As reported by My State Line News, Bobby Horton Jr. was sentenced on Thursday to 30 months of probation for the crime which left his pit bull puppy, Simba, with severe burns.
Horton and his girlfriend, Samantha Rose Anderson, allegedly burned the eight-month-old pup with boiling water or chemicals. The pup suffered second degree burns over much of his body, but did recuperate after receiving extensive veterinary treatment. Simba has since been adopted to a new owner who lives out of state.
Anderson and Horton had acquired the puppy from a friend who later learned that the couple was abusing him. Horton is accused of firing a gun at a mutual friend in “an altercation over the dog’s treatment.” On the day of the altercation, the police showed up and there was a lengthy stand-off with Horton, who eventually was taken into custody after 8 hours.
In addition to probation, Horton has been ordered to 180 hours of public service, and a $2,049 fine. If Horton violates the terms of his probation, he will have a jail sentence to serve.

This is absolutely inexcusable. The prosecutor and judge should be held accountable for this lunatic getting such a light sentence.
What the hell is the matter with these judges? No jail time for this low-life SOB? Hold him down and pour boiling water on his balls. As for his girl friend, throw acid in her face so she will always remember the suffering she and her asshole boyfriend caused this poor dog. And for the judge, use his kids/grandkids for both “treatments” for being such scumbag by letting this bastad off with nothing but a slap on the wrist.

I also pray that Anderson and Horton are found in the middle of nowhere beaten to a bloody pulp, eyes gouged OUT, tongues CUT out, BURNS on 100% of their wretched bodies, ears cut off, and EVERY BONE in their body BROKEN with a baseball bat. Praise God for His hand of justice.
