On Thursday evening, field rescue volunteers found a newborn puppy lying in a field all alone. The helpless little one was brought to the  Animal Rescue Team in Solvang, California.

Although the puppy was extremely lucky to be discovered, an examination by veterinarians quickly discovered injuries as well as his back toes had been chewed off. Experts guess that a bird of prey may have dropped the puppy.

As of last evening, the puppy has been warmed and has been showing interest in Colostrum formula.

  1. Poor little treasure……. not a good start…….
Whilst I am VERY sad Eddie didn’t survive, I am VERY grateful for those who saved him and tried their best to help him. In his last hours of life, Eddie was loved…….

Eddie, I absolutely know that you are in Heaven. Please look for MacKitty and join his wonderful snuggle buddies group and RIP amongst loving friends.
