Senior dog hidden at shelter

Neglected senior dog hidden at shelter, will anyone come to save her?

A senior dog, ten years of age, is hidden in an area of the shelter where she can’t be seen. Her name is Cocoa, and she has been at the Los Angeles County (Downey) Animal Control facility since August 12. Cocoa is an older dog, who has suffered physically because of neglect, AND she is hidden from the general public – is there anyone who will come to save her?

An advocate writes:

🚨Senior Medical Plea🚨

You just have to take one look at Cocoa and know her life hasn’t been easy💔 She has been bred, her teeth are a mess, her eyes are infected, her skin is horrible, her ears are crusty & infected, she has arthritis but you know what else she has the Biggest Loving Heart 💗 Her Smile is Infectious😃

Adding:

When I see Cocoa my heart explodes with happiness ~ I tell her she is BEAUTIFUL ~ when I hold her in my arms I tell her how much I LOVE HER.

Cocoa is in an area of the Shelter where no one sees her 😢😡 ~ She is a Hidden Treasure That needs to be Discovered…

Cocoa has so much going against her…she is an older girl, with known medical issues, and she is hidden. Please help this deserving dog beat the odds by sharing her adoption information.

If I didn’t already have three dogs that are driving me to the poor house with their vet bills and medicine (this is what happens with older dogs) I would be there in a minute to get this precious girl. Prayers Cocoa finds her way out before it’s too late.

Thank god ya’all!!!! With the help of some very awesome angels and our wonderous Lord…this beautiful baby is on her way to me. She will join us on the couch to live the rest of her days in peace and love! I didnt want her to have any of her old life including her name so her new name is Gracie (as it was all Gods grace) that we were able to get her out of there and on her way to Colorado! She will be loved and spoiled! Thanks to Brittany from Best Friends .org and Karen from Animal Rescue of the Rockies and Doobert…you all are angels! Gods blessings to you! She is so loved already. Thank you to all who read her story and teied to help her.
