In a village near Udaipur, Rajasthan, India, animal rescue center, Animal Aid Unlimited were called to help as a mother dog cried out in anguish seemingly asking for help for her ailing puppy.
“She didn’t stop trying to communicate as we gently lifted her puppy who had two deep wounds and placed him in the ambulance,” the organization reported.
The mother dog had four other puppies she had been caring for, but for this severely injured puppy who screamed in pain and fear, she begged for help. Heartbreaking cries from the mother and the puppy conveyed the message that this would be a matter of life or death for the little one.
The puppy, named Toggle, was brought back to the hospital where he was sedated, his wounds cleaned and bandaged. While being treated by the staff, the brave little one never struggled; he understood he was being helped.
“Her little one was so brave, and never struggled throughout his wound dressings. But he had a lingering problem; the wounds hurt him so badly he couldn’t walk for several days. We weren’t sure if the nerve damage was permanent.
Toggle was extremely sweet and was provided with the rest, food and love he needed to heal.

Pure sweetness
This group in India does amazing work for street dogs and has rescued many who have been treated and survived their injuries due to this group. Sad that so many street dogs suffer in silence, but this group helps any dog that needs help. Wonderful group.

Animal Aid does wonderful amazing rescues and are very HUMANE & LOVING… I am wondering where the mother is and the other dog that was wondering on the street as well. I would have thought it would have been much safer and wiser to take both of those strays back to the shelter and fix them both and keep them at the shelter safe too! Leaving them both on the INSANE INHUMANE streets of INDIA, as they do NOT need to produce more stray puppies that probably will end up being harmed!
