A 25-year-old professional bull rider died after he was bucked off his bull at the National Western Stock Show on Tuesday night in Denver. Mason Lowe, sustained fatal injuries after he was flung from the bull at the National Western Stock Show.
According to the Denver Post, Lowe had been on the ground when the 2,000 pound bull landed on his chest with its hind legs. Although Lowe tried to get up, he collapsed just a few feet away. The bull rider died at Denver Health Medical Center from massive injuries to his heart and chest.
In a tweet, the Professional Bull Riders (PBR) issued the following statement:
“We are deeply saddened to report that Mason Lowe passed away this evening following injuries sustained at the PBR event in Denver. The entire PBR and National Western sports family extends out heartfelt condolences and deepest sympathies to Mason’s wife Abbey and his family.”
League officials have since assured the public that the bull named Hard Times Lowe had been riding, will remain in the PBR circuit and in no way was it the animal’s fault citing “unintentional” with no “mal-intent.”

I can’t garner a lot of sympathy for him. He chose to participate in a dangerous “sport” and knew the consequences. I HATE rodeos. There is NO point in ever riding a bull….or a bucking bronco…..or jerking a scared calf by its neck just for fun. About the only event that isn’t TOO bad is barrel racing but I’m sure horses have been injured during that, too. Just ban rodeos, circuses, dog racing, etc.
I concur 100% with ye Darla, check out this website,Steve Hindi reports on these horrible rodeos all the time along with other animal abuse issues.

As dangerous as this sport is, no one thinks anything like this will happen to themselves, but this proves it can indeed happen at any time. At least the bull will be spared.
I’m just glad that the bull wasnt slaughtered for it.
So sorry–it is hard to find sympathy for those who exploit animals for entertainment.
It’s called KARMA, faux cowboys! How would you like to be abused, tortured?
