Two men are wanted in Rockford, Illinois, for allegedly entering a home on Friday and taking turns shooting at a dog. As reported by My State Line, the dog, who was in the care of a pet sitter at the time, did not survive.
The Rockford Police are looking for the alleged shooters, who are identified as Kelvin Langston, 28, and Douglas Hollyfield, 26. The men are accused of fleeing from a house located on the 700 block of Bruce Street in the early morning hours. The pet sitter, a 27-year-old female, was not injured.
Anyone with information about this crime, or the whereabouts of the suspects, is asked to reach out to the Rockford Police at 815-966-2900 or leave an anonymous tip with Rockford Area Crime Stoppers at 815-963-7867.
