A man in Portsmouth, New Hampshire, is facing several animal cruelty charges after a video captured “disturbing” behavior which included a dog being kicked and jerked violently with a leash. As reported by Fox News, the alleged abuser is identified as 26-year-old David Dantino.
The video
The Portsmouth Police instigated an investigation into the situation after they were presented with a video which shows Dantino allegedly abusing a 3-year-old cattle dog named Knox. Clips in the video show the man kicking Knox in the ribs, and violently jerking the leash – at one point, Dantino pulled the leash strongly enough that the dog was lifted off of the ground.
Knox does not belong to Dantino and her owner is not expected to face charges. The alleged abuser is facing three counts of animal cruelty.

K9 take down
I guess the owner of the dog should pay more attention to who they are letting walk their dog. Knox certainly didn’t deserve this and I hope David Dantino receives the punishment he deserves.
Deserves SERIOUS jail time!
