This week, a man in Cleveland, Ohio, was arrested for allegedly setting fire to a dog who was inside of a crate. As reported by Fox 8 News, the authorities arrested Antonio Dinel Johnson on Tuesday.
Johnson is accused of setting fire to a crate which held a stray dog – the dog was so severely injured that he had to be humanely euthanized. Johnson’s alleged act has resulted in a charge of felonious cruelty to an animal.
The victimized dog had been found as a stray earlier this month, and the people who discovered him were unable to keep him inside of their apartment, so he was left in the apartment complex’s parking garage in a crate. It was there that Johnson allegedly doused him in accelerant and set him on fire.
