At the Humane Society for Hamilton County in Indiana, Ritter is a lost soul. When he was surrendered to the shelter because his family lost their home, Ritter’s negative reaction was immediate and truly heartbreaking.
” This is the reality our animals face every day – Heartbreak and a sense of hopelessness,” a volunteer from the shelter posted on Facebook hoping to help Ritter find a new family who would love him forever.
Share Ritter’s plight with approved rescue organizations, friends, family and social media contacts. Help this boy find a place to be loved and for his heart to heal. Visit the shelter and meet this lost soul. Sharing saves lives.
Ritter is a four-year-old American bulldog who has lived with other dogs and children. He has not been cat tested.

I am crying as I write this….. poor precious treasure has no idea why he isn’t with his family. I wish I was there (instead of in CA) to snuggle him and reassure him that the world is ok (& that he REALLY is a good boy)……. I hope he finds his furever family ASAP where he will be treated as a beloved family member…….
SO THEY GIVE UP A FAMILY MEMBER BECAUSE THEY LOSE THEIR HOME?!
PLEASE HELP RITTER FIND A “REAL” FAMILY! HE DESERVES IT!
