Little Lola left at shelter because owners had ‘too many’

Little Lola isn’t to blame for her owners having “too many” dogs, yet she’s being punished after having been surrendered to the Harris County Animal Shelter.

A volunteer helping to promote her plight in order to find her a safe home tells the dog’s heartbreaking story.

“This little chunk is Lola and she’s not real happy right now. She’d really like to tell her owner how mad she is for being brought to the shelter. Is it her fault they had “too many?” Lola is 3 years old and could probably lose a little weight so she’ll feel better. She is already spayed and heartworm negative so if you’d like to make her part of your family, you can take her home right away!”

Can you believe someone could dump this baby at the shelter? We will never understand this…

Were the owners breaking the law with having too many pets or is this their excuse for getting rid of this poor dog! Prayers Lola finds a loving home.
