Legacy was adopted, abandoned and found one year later near death

Legacy was adopted one year ago from the Twin Falls Animal Shelter in Idaho. She had been a healthy, happy dog, and for sure she thought she had found the perfect home.

People for Pets – Twin Falls Animal Shelter volunteers tell Legacy’s plight through her own eyes [That is if Legacy could speak.]

“On July 28th, 2018 I was adopted and thought I was out of here for good (although I did love the staff). One year to the day later I was found by a citizen by the Perrine Bridge just days away from death as you can see in the photo.”

The staff tried to contact the adopter to ask them what happened, but the people refused to answer the door or the phone. When brought to the shelter  that day, Legacy only weighed 21 pounds – less than one-half of what she should have weighed it at – 60 pounds.

“I was so very sick but the staff made sure I was taken care of by a doctor and almost 1 month later I am feeling 1000 x better and have gained around 12 lbs!”

But now no one wants to adopt Legacy.

“So here I sit again waiting, wondering, will I ever be loved properly? Will I ever be given a home where I can stay to the end of my days? I’m young and so smart. I love children, I enjoy other dogs. I get along with cats. I AM PERFECT.

Please share this, losing hope feels just awful.”

Please share Legacy’s plight and help this sweet gal find a loving home. Sharing saves lives.

PLEASE–IT WOULD BE AN “ABSOLUTE CRIME” IF THIS INNOCENT DEFENSELESS “PERFECT”VICTIM IS NOT RESCUED OR ADOPTED!
