An approximately 12-year-old Pomeranian, named Landon has not been having a sweet retirement. Sadly, his owners surrendered him to the Carson Animal Care Center for being “too old.” In addition, Landon was covered in fleas and suffered from an ear infection that required treatment.

Check out his video:

“#A5316805 My name is LANDON and I’m an approximately 12 year old male Pomeranian. I am not yet neutered. I have been at the Carson Animal Care Center since 9/8. I will be available on 9/12. You can visit me at my temporary home at CRACK. My former family who owned me for more than 5 years had to give me up because they thought I had gotten too old. But they said that I spend most of my time indoors. I seem to be good with small children. I have not been housetrained. I have not learned how to walk on a leash.”

Not neutered, not housebroken……. WTF did his so-called family do with this precious little treasure for ~12 years???

Disgusting and wrong on so many levels…..

I hope Frosted Faces or Leave No Paws Behind or another rescue group can save Landon. He deserves to be treated as a beloved family member for however long a time he has left and not die in the shelter alone, afraid and (worst of all) unloved…….
