Investigators seek laughing man videoed slapping dog across the face

The RSPCA launched an investigation on Tuesday seeking the man in a video who laughed as he slapped a dog across the face in what appears to be a random act of cruelty. Officials believe the video was filmed in the United Kingdom due to the license plates of passing vehicles, however the place where the incident occurred is still unknown.

According to RSPCA Chief Inspector Tony Pritchard, the incident occurred earlier in October when social media users reported the video.

In the video, a man gets out of a vehicle and walks towards the dog – a Dogue de Bordeaux, who had his head out of the back window in a parked black truck. The man approaches the dog holding out his hand as if he was going to offer the dog a small treat, but instead slapped the dog across the face. Moments later, a second Dogue de Bordeaux sticks his head out of the same window and barks at the man who then laughs while he moved away from the vehicle.

Anyone with information about the dogs, know where this incident took place or has any information who is responsible should contact the RSPCA appeal line on 0300 123 8018.

MY UNDERSTANDING IS THAT THE ASPCA AND RSPCA OFFICERS
CAN CARRY GUNS! THEY DEFINITELY NEED TO IN ORDER TO PROTECT THE INNOCENT DEFENSELESS ANIMALS!
