An injured stray, taken in at the Memphis Animal Services facility, is waiting for someone to want him. The two-year-old dog, dubbed Sid, has been at the busy animal control agency since June 3, but nobody has expressed an interest in saving him.
Friends of the Memphis Animal Shelter writes:
Sid is a sweet dog who came in stray with some wounds on this face that are being treated. Sid is a little shy at first as the shelter seems overwhelming to him. He does walks well on a leash, and he sits well when asked. Sid just wants a loving home and some good attention!
If Sid walks well on a leash and knows how to sit, he had a home at some point. Where is his owner now? Why is he alone in a busy shelter?

This boy weighs about thirty-six pounds, and he is heartworm positive…but his treatment is included in his adoption fee! Memphis Animal Services is the place to meet Sid. Please come see him; he is literally begging for a good home.
