Last ditch efforts to save an injured puppy’s life are currently underway. The six-month-old shepherd mix puppy, named Ralph, is at the Palm Valley Animal Control in Edinburg, Texas, and he needs to leave – today.

On Thursday morning (within the past hour) the Urgent Dogs of Palm Valley Facebook page wrote of Ralph’s urgent situation and need for help:

To be euthanized today:

Ralph (A42765687) is a 6-month-old Shepherd who has a protruding left eye. He is in need of urgent medical care we cannot provide and he must find an adopter or rescue tag by 5 pm today 9/19.

Ralph is a baby – a hurt pup who desperately needs veterinary care. Please help save this puppy’s life by networking his information. He is unable to help himself and is relying on the kindness of strangers.

If you can help Ralph get the care that he needs, please email us at!

Note: Please direct ALL inquiries about this dog to the animal control agency. The Pet Rescue Report is NOT the point of contact. Thank you.
